For the highest quality exterior services from landscape professionals with over 40 years of combined experience, Lake Yard’s landscape services are available for a wide variety of projects.
A consultation of approximately one hour will be conducted at your property. Alternatively, if your home is under construction and you are in possession of final plans, the consultation can be carried out at our Design Studio. The designer will discuss your garden preferences and budget to design your ideal garden. If you have a design from another company, we will make our suggestions to value-engineer the design you have given us.
Based on the initial consultation, the designer will propose a design fee based on the estimated number of hours required to design and draft your garden. We offer free design to clients who we contract with to build their project. If you have given us a plan from another company, there is no fee for minor modifications of that plan.
Once the fee proposed is approved, our survey team will visit your property to take measurements. Or, if you already have a design from another company, we will verify the measurements on that plan.
Lakeyard Design team will develop construction plans along with material recommendations, based on your lifestyle and garden requirements within your budget. This includes life-like 3D renderings that will allow you to see exactly what your project will look like. If you already have a plan from another company, we will verify the measurements.
Once drafting is complete the Design Team will organize a time with you to visit our office—or we can come to you—to see your drawings and 3D renderings video. We will make any changes, and set another meeting after the revisions (if any) are complete to show you the revised drawings and matching 3D renderings.
Once your design is approved by you, and if you approve our construction proposal, we will submit the drawings to the respective authorities for approvals. This process usually takes two to four weeks depending on the authorities involved.
Once we have gotten approvals, Lakeyard will call for kick off meeting, where we will explain to you the process of construction, material selection (if needed), work schedule, etc. Then we commence the construction of exactly what we promised to build you.
